Fifth Class of Startups Join Leading Tech Business Accelerator
Central Florida technology accelerator Starter Studio accepts startups into program that focuses on Lean Startup principles, mentoring and building a viable product.
ORLANDO, Fla. – January 28, 2016 – Starter Studio has selected eight startup companies for its fifth technology accelerator class that commences February 16, 2016. With the addition of these eight companies, Starter Studio now counts more than three dozen startup participants in its intensive, hands-on learning experience.
During the 12-week program participants, referred to as “Starters,” will progress through an education program that has them develop their idea, validate the concept with potential customers, complete a robust financial model, and be able to demonstrate their product in a final “Demo Day.”
Starters will utilize a formal Lean Startup curriculum, as well as benefit from group workshops and one-on-one mentoring from seasoned business and technology executives with startup experience.

SQYGL: We are Multi-City Travel, Simplified.
Style Squad: A mobile application that helps users make decisions on outfits or potential purchases by crowdsourcing feedback from their peers.
Zuke Music: Web and mobile application enabling better music creation, delivery, and consumption.
About Starter Studio
Starter Studio is a not-for-profit tech accelerator founded by local tech entrepreneur Gregg Pollack. It launched its first class in November 2013 and to date has graduated 29 companies. In 2015 the 19 graduating companies of the first three classes collectively generated revenues of more than $5 million, employed more than 90 people and have received more than $3 million in investment funding since they launched.
